Really, Bro? #10

Los Angeles Lakers Head Coach Mike Brown

Los TeBros heard an interesting story today, Lakers Head Coach Mike Brown thinks that bringing Metta World Peace (formerly known as Ron Artest) off of thebench would "bolster" their bench. Adding World Peace to the Lakers bench would definitely strengthen a bench that is lacking depth due to the departure of 2011 Sixth Man of the Year Lamar Odom. Los TeBros has no problem that World Peace will come off the bench, but Los TeBros has a problem with a possible replacement. Brown had this to say
" I might start Matt (Barnes).
I  might start Luke (Walton)... "

Really, Bro? I had to take a break before I continued.

Many Lakers fans would like to see Walton remain where
he is in the photo above, on another team's bench.

Brown also mentioned later that second year player Devin Ebanks is competing with Barnes and Walton. Mike Brown, why is Walton even in consideration? Really, BRO? Los TeBros has nothing against Walton personally, but we've watched him play for years now. The fact that he's still a Laker deserves a Really, Bro? A starter in the NBA needs to BROduce while they're on the court and Walton has not. Kobe needs another scorer and quick PG playing besides him and Walton does not fit the criteria. See for yourself.

Los TeBros has said it over and over. Why did the Lakers pass on Josh Selby TWICE?!?! Really, Bro?

Back to Walton, how does Kobe and the rest of the Lakers feel about the idea of Luke Walton starting?

Even Walton is laughing at the idea. Newly acquired Gerald Green and Josh McRoberts would be better options than Walton. Mike Brown

                          Really, Bro?

How do you guys feel about this? Should Luke Walton start? Who should start instead? What are your expectations for the 2011-2012 Laker season? Let us know.
